Barley Smoothies
				
			Smoothies are rich in nutrients, allowing you to get vitamins that might otherwise be destroyed by heat.
Blueberry and Apple Barley Smoothie
Ingredients

| Cooked barley | 80g | 
| Blueberries | 50g | 
| Yogurt drink (store-bought) | 150ml | 
Instructions
- 
Remove the core from the apple and cut into bite-sized pieces with the skin on.

Reserve 6 blueberries for garnish. Put the remaining ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and garnish with blueberries.
 
Bright Red Tomato and Orange Smoothie
Ingredients

| Cooked barley | 80g | 
| Tomato | 1 medium | 
| Orange | 1/2 medium | 
| Cherry tomatoes | 2 | 
Instructions
- 
Roughly chop the tomato. Peel the orange and cut into bite-sized pieces.

Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and garnish with cherry tomatoes.
