Town Hall Staff Face Off in a Mochi-Barley Recipe Challenge

In Fukusaki Town, Hyogo Prefecture, a unique event was held with the town’s specialty product “mochi barley (mochi-mugi)” as its theme.

Two departments that usually support Fukusaki Town’s mochi barley in different fields—the Regional Promotion Division, which is in charge of tourism and events, and the Agriculture and Forestry Promotion Division, which works on the promotion of agriculture and forestry—held a mochi barley arrangement recipe contest.
